Are MCSA certs still worth it in 2020? So shoot for every Cert you can get while your starting out. I hope so, just got mine a few weeks back, Azure/AWS/cloud-based certs are now the way to go for the future. Not only do they help you but they may help others. I’m getting somewhat close to the 70-740 and as you say personal life and job stress get in the way. I didn't know they were going away. Hit the books, build your labs and finish your MCSA, or if you're just starting out, dive into this forum and look at all the available resources you can use.

Once you have the interview or job, you cant hide behind that little plastic card and pretend you know what your doing. Recruiters and hiring managers tend to look at the Certifications section of a tech resume before anything else. I upgraded my MCSA Windows Server 2012 R2 to Windows Server 2016 mid last year, so this year I am going to finish up the MS-100 and MS-101 for the Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert. If you are going for the MCSE then why not get the MCSA on the way? The MCSA is verymuch worth it. I did MCSA this year but next year I'm planning to tackle 70-744, AZ-103, and MS-500 at a minimum.
